Design a Brewery That Brings People Together

Basic Beverage Co. envisioned more than a brewery - they wanted a destination that celebrates Raleigh's brewing culture while creating an inviting place for people to gather. The space needed to accommodate up to 300 guests with a full-service bar, food offerings, private event space, and outdoor seating, all within a design that reflects both the craft of brewing and the neighborhood's industrial character.

Balanced Warm Hospitality with Industrial Heritage

OneFourTwo combined midcentury modern influences with materials that feel authentic to the brewing process. Warm wood flooring and millwork soften the industrial shell, while bold red tile, leather accents, and layered lighting create moments of visual interest throughout the space. Exposed ceilings are treated as an architectural feature, establishing a continuous industrial backdrop that contrasts with the refined finishes below. Clear views into the brewery celebrate production as part of the guest experience and reinforce the connection between craft and place.

A Destination Rooted in Craft and Community

The completed brewpub will offer a variety of experiences, from casual gatherings at the bar to private events and outdoor dining. By blending warm hospitality with industrial authenticity, the design creates a memorable destination that welcomes neighborhood regulars, families, and visitors alike while celebrating Raleigh's rich brewing tradition.
